By automating incident delivery based on Report Type, Report Tag, Report Location, or message content, you eliminate manual bottlenecks. This ensures Safety, Maintenance, and Customer Service teams can act on what matters most to them—without the noise of irrelevant data.


Internal Report Routing: Organizing Your Team

Internal routing manages how reports are distributed within the ELERTS ecosystem. This ensures console operators and EScanner App users only see incidents relevant to their specific roles and jurisdictions.

Reports can be filtered and directed using a combination of these criteria:

  • Report Type: Direct categories (e.g., "Graffiti" vs. "Suspicious Activity") to the appropriate department.
  • Report Location: Route incidents based on the specific station, building, or zone selected by the user.
  • Report Tags: Use tags assigned by operators or automated Zones to trigger specialized workflows.


Benefit: This departmental isolation allows Safety to focus on security or safety concerns while Operations handles facility repairs, increasing the focus and productivity of every staff member.


External Report Routing: Connecting Your Workflow

External routing pushes ELERTS data outside the console into the third-party tools and communication channels your organization already uses. This can be configured to happen automatically or triggered manually by an operator.

1. Integration with Third-Party Systems - Silo Busting

Connect ELERTS to your existing enterprise software to create a unified response ecosystem.

  • Webhooks: Automatically push data to platforms like Salesforce, Zendesk, or Maximo the moment a report is submitted or updated.
  • API Integration: Create direct, programmatic connections for deep synchronization with custom external systems.
  • Automatic Emails: Send formatted report data to external databases or service desk inboxes based on internal routing rules.

2. Routing to Key Personnel

Ensure stakeholders stay informed, even if they aren't logged into the ELERTS console.

  • Automatic Email Lists: Send filtered subsets of reports to specific management or stakeholder groups.
  • Urgent Word Triggers: Set "Watch Words". When an incoming report contains a high-priority keyword (bomb, gun, stab, etc.) the system can instantly send an SMS or email notification to designated emergency responders.
  • Manual Dispatch: Operators can click the Share button to manually forward any report via email directly from the console to a specific individual as needed.
